Since scalar modes are produced nonlinearly from tensor modes, non-Gaussianity is an intrinsic prediction of the mechanism. We compute the corresponding scalar bispectrum, derive the relevant contribution to the three-point function of the scalar potential, and evaluate its shape numerically.
