We introduce a modified generalized path coalgebra $\\Bbbk(\\mathrm{Q},\\mathcal{S})$ associated with a given quiver $\\mathrm{Q}$ and a collection of simple coalgebras $\\mathcal{S}=\\{C_i\\mid i\\in \\mathrm{Q}_0\\}$ indexed by the vertices of $\\mathrm{Q}$, such that its link quiver coincides with $\\mathrm{Q}$.
