For $0\\le i<n$, we identify the finite-box local-cohomology category $\\mathcal H_i(\\mathbf t)$ with the representation category of the upper support poset $U_{n-i}(\\mathbf t)$. The local-cohomology functor admits an exact functorial section selecting sources of minimal projective dimension and maximal depth in every non-top degree, but for $n\\ge2$ and $\\mathbf t\\ge\\mathbf1$ no fully faithful section exists for $i=1$ or $i=n-1$, even without exactness.
