We use a probabilistic approach and prove that for $K\\geq 8$ and nonzero integers $m_1,\\ldots,m_K$, $$ \\bigg|\\sum_{n\\leq K} m_n\\sqrt{a_n}\\bigg| > e^{\\frac{2^{K-1}-1}{K} - \\frac{1}{2}} \\bigg(\\max_{n\\leq K}|m_n|\\sqrt{a_n}\\cdot \\sqrt{K}\\bigg)^{-(2^{K-1}-1)}. $$ This inequality improves the dependence on $K$ in the classical product bound.","category":"research","comments":0,"disputed":false,"division":"math","mentions":0,"discussed":0,"published":"2026-09-12","reactions":{}}
