We derive a factorization of the determinant of the Jacobian that substantially simplifies the subsequent analysis. The methods used to study the singularity of the Jacobian include rigorous interval arithmetic, the Krawczyk operator, a quantitative implicit function theorem, and computer-assisted proofs.
