Our main result states that, if every coordinate space has normal structure and $r(A)\\leq1$, then every such self-mapping of a nonempty weakly compact convex set has a fixed point. The result is a direct generalization of the Browder--Göhde--Kirk principle. The proof combines classical nonexpansive fixed point theory with Frobenius normal form, passing successively to coordinate projections and invariant fibres.
