We resolve two questions posed by Huang and Ye concerning full-scattering systems. First, we construct a four-symbol subshift which is $Δ^*$-mixing but not full-scattering, thereby showing that $Δ^*$-mixing does not imply full-scattering. Second, we prove that every finite product of full-scattering systems is full-scattering.
