The Isoperimetric Inequality in Higher-Dimensional Heisenberg Groups

We prove the sharp horizontal isoperimetric inequality in $\mathbb H^n$, $n\ge2$, with equality precisely for left translates and Heisenberg dilations of Pansu balls, up to Haar-null sets.
