Dynamical chiral symmetry breaking in rotating QED$_3$: critical flavor number and the occupation-reweighting channel
We study dynamical chiral symmetry breaking in $(2{+}1)$-dimensional QED on a rigidly rotating disc, $ΩR<1$, within the rainbow Schwinger--Dyson framework. At zero temperature the rotation response of the condensate vanishes identically, so $N_c^{\rm SD}(Ω,T{=}0)=N_c^{\rm SD}(0)=2.60\pm0.01$ (using three operational definitions). At finite temperature, rotation suppresses the condensate through a dominant occupation-reweighting channel, $\hatκ_{\rm occ}=-1.55$, accounting for $\ge 99.995\%$ of the linearized total response at the reference parameters, with self-consistent feedback amplifying…
