Automorphisms of medium algebras and quasi-anisotropic real affine Grassmannians
We study automorphisms of Hausel's medium algebras by identifying them with equivariant cohomology algebras of affine Schubert varieties of a complex reductive group $G$. The automorphisms in question are then given by the action of either complex automorphisms or real structures of $G$ on affine Schubert varieties. We focus on describing the fixed points of those automorphisms on the spectra of medium algebras, and prove that the torsion-free quotients of the corresponding coinvariant algebras are isomorphic to equivariant cohomology rings of fixed loci in affine Schubert varieties.
