Points within a topological dynamical systems can be separated into transient and recurrent points. Most of the asymptotic properties of the dynamics is borne by the closure of the collection of recurrent points. This article presents a representation scheme for dynamics using the connectivity information in terms of the recurrent set. This representation is functorial and represents certain compositional features of dynamical systems.
